The driver was right on time, EXTREMELY courteous and friendly, The van was very clean (even no dust) and I have recommended the service to others. It is the only service that we use at our hospital. I have never had a negative experience with Delaware Express shuttle service.

Just wanted to say thank you for the good service we received last night (actually early this morning). My brother and I were delayed in Minneapolis for three hours due to bad weather and arrived in Phila. at 2:00am instead of our scheduled time of 10:50pm. Both the telephone rep and our driver (Willie) were courteous, helpful and best of all, prompt. We were back at my Wilm. home by 2:45am. Pretty impressive service! This is the kind of attention that keeps us coming back!

I wish to express my heart felt thanks for an outstanding job. My Dad just turned 85 on 1/09/2007. For Christmas and his birthday gift I booked a Town car and Chauffeur to fulfill the transportation to and from the Philadelphia Airport. He flew to Orlando Florida to spend a week with his 80 year old brother, whom he had not seen in some time. He had a wonder full trip! He was so excited, the smile on his face as the chauffeur opened the right rear door, was priceless. He has always had to get a friend to drive him up to the Airport. This time he enjoyed every moment. I was told by a friend to call you and I will never forget the great service and excellent chauffeur driven Town Cars.

Dear Mr. Frenze:
I am writing you concerning one of your drivers, Don Sapp. Mr. Sapp drove a University of Delaware bus on Saturday, December 19, 2009, to New York to the Metropolitan Opera. My husband and I were among the passengers. The driving conditions going up were bad but coming back they were nearly impossible. Mr. Sapp handled the bus with admirable control and efficiency. All around us cars were skidding and going into ravines as were tow-trucks. Mr. Sapp stopped whenever possible to clear the windshield wipers from ice. He was ever pleasant and composed and very helpful answering any questions. He never sped or took chances and he was always courteous to other drivers. He did himself as well as his company proud. Please give him our thanks. You must be very proud of him.
I am sending a copy of this letter to Lori Mayhew at the University of Delaware and asking her to engage Mr. Sapp whenever possible to drive University bus trips and to mention Mr. Sapp’s ability to her colleagues.

I would like to write a testimonial for our driver Paul after ANOTHER GREAT TRIP. I noticed that several testimonials list the full name of the driver. Could you please ask Paul if he would like me to list his last name, and IF HE DOES, could you include it in your reply? I admit I am remiss. Either I never knew his full name or have let it slip out of my memory.
The trip I'm speaking about was the 4 days to and from Cincinnati, OH for the members of the Chesapeake Silver Cornet Brass Band (and for some members of the Atlantic Brass Band).
We think of Paul as a member of the band. Of course we hope he will be our driver July 5th, 8th and 24th!!

I just wanted to let you know what a fabulous day we all had yesterday! The bus was clean and comfortable, and Fred was a sweetheart and took excellent care of us. The girls had a blast at the American Girl Place and came home with lots of pretty things. I did bring Dolphin Tale but my daughter really likes the movie so we decided to keep it.
This was the first time my friend and I have gone on a Delaware Express bus trip and we would definitely do it again and recommend it to others. It was so nice to be able to relax on the trip and let someone else take care of getting us there and back. I appreciate your great customer service - thanks again!

Comment: We recently went on a day trip to NYC. Our driver was Fred Barr. He was the best driver on any trip I have ever taken. I was a driver instructor for many years. It was second nature for me to evaluate his driving in highway and city traffic, and I give him a 100% A+ for his abilities. We all trusted him to make the right decisions on the road. I am writing to acknowledge the excellent service we received from your company on our recent Music Dept trip to Disney. On May 17th - 22nd, our department brought 106 people to Disney for performances and workshops. Your drivers were very professional, polite, well-mannered, and made the trip a safe and excellent experience. I also appreciated the kind words all had to say about my students and the condition in which we kept the bus. All the drivers should be commended, but I would like to take the time to make an extra mention of two in particular.
Mike McLain and Barbara Todd were our drivers for the largest part of the trip and they were the best drivers with whom I have ever had the pleasure of working. I cannot in any reasonable way express how professional and exceptional their services was to our group. In 16 years of running band an chorus trips, I have only slept once because I felt so comfortable with the safety and professionalism of the driver and that was a few years ago with Mr. McLain driving your company's bus. This year I was on a bus with him again and slept comfortably for the second time ever because of my confidence in his abilities. Ms. Todd was also very exceptional in her performance as was expressed by my co-director.
I request you put letters of recommendation in the permanent files of Mike McLain and Barbara Todd for representing your company with excellence. I look forward to utilizing your company's services again.
